Our stinking cute girls!
What can I say... I just love our girls! They both make me so happy and I can't wait to find out what number 3 will be. Lilie thinks it will be a girl and is calling her Matilda haha. Marlie loves playing with Lilie. It makes me smile to watch them play together and see how good Lilie is with her.

Happy Valentine's Day 2012
A few days ago Aaron asked me if when I was younger, if I ever thought about who I would marry. I told him all the time! He said he did too. He told me he wondered what his future wife was doing at different times during his childhood. I was surprised because I didn't think boys thought about that kind of stuff. I always dreamed about who I would marry someday and the qualities they would possess. Whenever I would have bad dreams, my mom would tell me to try and think about when I would get married, so to help make my bad dreams go away I would imagine who I would marry. As I grew older and started dating, I started to make a mental list of qualities that I insisted upon finding and negative qualities that I would not compromise. Aaron exceeded everything I wanted my husband to be. He possesses all of the qualities and more. He is the whole package, the jack of all trades with his loving demeanor, his leadership qualities, his strength in his beliefs, his willingness to sacrifice for a higher cause, his compassion, his amazing talents of drawing, cooking, decorating, building, imagining, and sewing (yes sewing!), the way he loves his girls, and the way he loves me. He is my strength when I am weak, my voice when I can't speak, my mind when I can't think. He is my everything and I love him so much with all my heart! Happy Valentine's Aaron my love! I love you!

Aaron's CSO Graduation January 6, 2012
Aaron had his CSO (Combat Systems Officer... Navigator) graduation on January 6th, 2012. It was such a great experience and I am so proud. It was nice to have his dad and brother Joel come support him as well. I was able to pin on his wings, which was so cool. I wanted to get it just right, so we had a few practice runs at it. We are very excited about his newest accomplishment and continue on to the next step toward our goals.
With the move to Arkansas and settling down, I'm a little behind on posts. This is from Marlie's first birthday. It was nothing big, although I wish we would have made it more fun. We are happy that our friends Kaliegh and Brandon Williams from Aaron's Reno guard unit came to celebrate. A few things about Marlie: She is starting to become more vocal by screaming at us when she wants or doesn't want something, if she's done, or she wants up or down. She loves making faces and laughs at Lilie over the silliest things. If we are in a group and everyone starts laughing, she will start laughing very loudly with us. She is so fun and funny. She loves to brush her teeth. She likes pretty much anything she eats... she has a harder time with her vegetables. She dances when music is playing. She loves to play and be around people. We went to our friend's super bowl party, and they have a medium size dog. She is so fascinated by animals and get super excited when she sees them. They let the dog in the house and it had a lot of energy. Marlie was standing in the middle of the room and that dog came charging at her. She started screaming with terror even before it reached her and knocked her flat on her back. I have never heard her scream like that before. She was so terrified and I was afraid she would be traumatized by dogs for the rest of her life. I held her whenever they let the dog back in. She started to get brave and want to get down to test if the dog would come after her again. She did pretty good, so I think she'll be okay with dogs in the future.

There has been a roller coaster of events since 2012 has started. It has been such a wonderful year so far with Aaron's CSO graduation on January 6th, our big move to Arkansas on January 9th, and now our surprising news on January 22nd that we are expecting another baby.
It is interesting how life turns out sometimes. Life comes with planning and surprises. During our years of marriage, we have learned to take things as they come and plan accordingly. One thing that we have made a plan for was our children. It took us 6 months before we were able to get pregnant with both Lilie and Marlie. We had actually come to almost a full consensus that we weren't going to have any more kids. That choice is obviously not what is in store for us. We are definitely thrilled and a little shocked that one time of not being careful resulted in a big surprise. This experience has just confirmed that Heavenly Father knows what is in store for us and his plan is far greater than our plan.
When I took the pregnancy test, as I sat it down on the cupboard to wait for the results, I could see no sign that it would show up positive. Aaron pulled me away from it and sat with me for the full 3 minutes. He asked if he could look at it first and see if I could guess by his expression. I thought, 'of course I'm going to guess that it's negative because that's where I saw it going'. After the 3 minutes, he went over and picked it up and stared at it blankly not trying to give anything away. I told him it was negative, then I noticed his eyes were welling up with tears and I said, "NO WAY!". I ran over to look at it and it was clear as day POSITIVE! I could feel the rush of emotion hit me and we both hugged each other a cried. We couldn't believe it, how crazy!
We are super excited and can't wait for another baby in our family!

Lilie's prayer today
Lilie said the prayer at dinner and in it she said some pretty funny things...
"I'm not bery happy about the thunder and tornadoes, they scare me" (in a concerned and stern voice)
"Thank you that my mommy is going to have a new baby brother and sister."
"Thank you for me to be nice to my baby sister"
"Thank you for me to not wet in my bed."
"Thank you for helping me to get up and go to the bathroom."
Her prayers are the best! When she finishes, we are all in tears either from holding in our laughs or because she touched our hearts. We love hearing her pray!!
